It is likely that Eridan will show his great indignation, " wwhat could you havve missed to get sick? " And it doesn't matter that a cold often comes without someone's fault.

He wants to look respectable, taking care of you. He thinks that he's like someone "reasonable", whom a cold wouldn't take so easily.

If you deny your obvious indisposition, he will try to force you to behave like a patient. At the same time, Eridan will most likely take over your possible cases, sometimes showing that he is doing you a great favor.

If his panache suddenly makes you jump out of bed or worry a lot, then he will try to take a huge step towards less pretentious and more open behavior, at least in front of you.

And this time he himself will admit the powerlessness of magic in such a serious matter. ig...

Equius

Equius doesn't know what to do. After all, he himself is too strong to get sick and very rarely encountered illnesses.

But he will try to pretend that he is very confident in everything. You should not worry about his inexperience anyway...

So he will write to his friends, arrogantly asking for help.

Equius will command even more, then usual. what he is sure of is that in your a position it is not worth taking on too much.

he doesnt show it in the most direct ways. maybe not the most socially acceptable ways, either. but hes in love with you. dear jegus believe him, he truly is.

when he met you he was initially taken aback. his etiquette and morals failing him because you were so different. and so intoxicating. and so nice.

personally i think his biggest love languages are quality time and acts of service. he loves being useful to you. whether it'd be picking up groceries or fending off creeps. this man can do it all.

speaking of a) groceries. hes a strong boy, as we all know. i think hed like to show off a bit, bashfully deny you from carrying things yourself and instead doing it for you. he also likes it when other people see him carrying things for you- it fills him with an odd amount of pride. he can do things for you. help you.

and b) creeps. equius will be your personal guard dog, whether he means to or not. hes a very protective person, and you only have to snap your fingers or he'll snap and lunge and bite at whoever is bothering you. whether thats literally or figuratively is up for debate.

You stayed at home for several days and were very late responding to messages from Karkat. You claimed that you were preparing something grandiose. And when Karkat was sitting at home, he heard music from the street. He went to the window to find out what was going on there. He couldn't say a word when he saw you under his windows. You were playing the guitar, and as soon as you saw him in the window, you started singing

You sang him a real serenade, smiling sincerely. You were singing a love song that you wrote yourself. That's what you've spent the last few days doing. You wanted to write a song that Karkat would really like, and his reaction was not long in coming

He ran out to you on the street and you saw that there were tears in his eyes. You didn't have time to ask him what was the reason for his tears because Karkat hugged you. You almost dropped the guitar, and you hugged him with one arm. You smiled softly, glad that Karkat liked the song you wrote

Despite the fact that you were dating, he was still embarrassed to show his feelings openly, which he denied himself, but you saw it perfectly well. That's why you decided to show him your feelings. He didn't know what you were going to do and you intended to take advantage of it

You came to him at hive without telling him in advance, which is why he was worried that you might want to tell him something that could end your relationship once and for all. However, you weren't going to do anything like that. Instead, you turned on the music and started singing, which made Equius very surprised

You sang him a real serenade. You wrote a song especially for him, wanting to show him your feelings. You put all your feelings into this song, hoping to show Equius what you felt. You truly loved him, so you were willing to do so much to show your feelings for him

When you finished singing, you saw how embarrassed Equius was. The blood rushed to his face and he was very nervous. You walked up to him and took his hands in yours. He could feel his heart fluttering at your actions. He was happy with you and your actions only inflamed his feelings more

Feferi often invited you to her hive. She knew that you couldn't go to her on your own, so she always helped you with that. You often stayed with her for a long period of time and this time it was the same. You brought some things with you to, as you said yourself, do an extremely important project, and Feferi was sure that you would be busy. It upset her, but at least you spent some of your time together. She offered to help you several times, but you said everything was fine and you could handle it on your own

One evening you told her that you would like to show her the very project that you have been working on for so long. Feferi was curious to know what it was, because you never once told her what you've been so busy lately. But she didn't expect you to start singing. What you've been doing all this time is writing a song for her. You sang a real serenade for Feferi

Feferi listened to your singing, unable to hold back a smile. The song you wrote for her was beautiful. You sang from the bottom of your heart about how much you loved Feferi and she felt the blood rush to her cheeks. No one has ever done something so sweet and romantic for her before

When you finished singing, Feferi hugged you tightly. She was delighted with your song, which she immediately told you about. You smiled, glad that she liked your serenade. Throughout the writing of the song, you were worried about how she would react, and seeing her reaction now, you couldn't help but rejoice at seeing her happy smile and embarrassed blush

hello bestie. yes you absolutely may. i was on the fence about if this should be a drabble or headcanons, but i went ahead and tried to drabble this request. forgive me if it's a little choppy.

Equius and Eridan with a S/O who has a high pain tolerance

Eridan, being a highblood, has almost an equally high pain tolerance. So to him, you being able to just ignore any injuries you have. However, what he simply Cannot believe, is how clumsy you are!! He'd get onto your case ALL the time about how you need to start being more careful. He tries to front like he isn't worried about you, but truth is, he is worried! And he worries about you a lot!

Equius would fret over your injuries all the time. Sure, he isn't much better, but he has the right to fret over you. What kind of matesprit would he be if he just let you wander off and get hurt! So, instead of letting you get injured, Equius likes to trail behind you and fuss over any danger you might get into. When he can't do that, however, he'll patiently wait for you to come back and take care of any bruises and cuts you may have from your journey.

♐ Equius x eepy reader ♐

You were incredibly lazy for a highblood. Most purplebloods were very high-energy, or at the very least they could keep their eyes open for five minutes. You could not.

Every time you went anywhere with him, his presence made you so comfy that you couldn't help but nod off. Even in public -- as two of the highest castes, it's not like anyone would bother you anyhow.

He was a very comfortable, very muscular pillow, so long as you could find a position to curl up in where your horns wouldn't poke him.

Your favorite thing was to kiss him before you napped. Usually, when you laid on him, he would complain half-heartedly about the improper way of sleeping or whatever, and you would lean your head up, give him a sloppy smooch, and lay back down on his chest.

Kissing his neck is also fun! Sometimes you leave hickeys on him and he has to get creative to cover it up since he always wears tank tops. He complains, but it's all fake. He loves it. The only time you can't is when he's in public -- he gets very embarrassed!

Yandere Equius/Reader/Gamzee Headcanons

-I doubt that there would be coordination between them before you are kidnapped. Equius would be stalking you, and one day you wouldn't be following the same schedule, at which point he would find that Gamzee had kidnapped you.

-Once Equius caught up with the change, you would still be kept in Gamzee's hive, as it's far enough away from others and empty most of the time.

-Luckily for you, they don't tend to be overly jealous of each other. So long as you stay with them and pay enough attention to both of them, they aren't going to harm each other out of jealousy.

-Still, these two are often at odds on how you should be treated. Gamzee always wants to cling onto you, which sends Equius into an anxious spiral as he worries about Gamzee hurting you.

-Equius's worries are justified, but don't think that means he would actually protect you if Gamzee hurt you. The most he would do is possibly request that Gamzee stops, which Gamzee likely would not listen to.

-Overall, you would still have a little more freedom than you would in most yandere relationships. The combination of Gamzee and Equius obsessing over you would likely be better for you than just having one or the other. They are both at least slightly against the other's worst traits, so your experience would be much more mild than it would be with just one of them.

The only good thing I can see about this is the fact you make him somewhat of a more docile yandere as a Highblood.

But he just gets weirder.

Being a Highblood would make you either Purple, Violet, or Fuchsia for your blood color. Maybe even Indigo like him but the higher colors would be more effective.

Instead of being an overprotective yandere or more arrogant yandere like he would with a Lowblood, he's straight up a worship yandere with protective elements.

Equius is even a bit creepy with it.

I imagine with a Highblood! Darling he'd follow them around in secret at first.

Your blood color activates one of his kinks which already makes you uneasy.

Equius is a troll who gets gratification from being given orders.

He has a thing for submission/domination and it's activated regardless of the blood color you are.

It's probably tamer when you're a Highblood.

Equius is a firm believer of the blood hierarchy in troll culture.

You easily have him wrapped around your finger as a Highblood.

You can easily keep him in your control with an order and he'll happily accept what you say.

The good part of this is he is docile as long as you pay attention to him.

The bad part is how often he's around.

He's obsessive about the idea of proving he's worthy for you as a Matesprit.

He shows you he's STRONG and very capable of following through with tasks.

Equius would get jealous if you gave your attention to another troll.

Especially a blood lower than him, it makes his blood boil and he becomes destructive.

You'd have to then spend time reassuring him that he's the best for you, unless you want to deal with him breaking something or someone.

Expect him to sweat a lot around you.

You'll have to constantly provide him with a towel, which only makes him sweat more.

He'll cherish whatever you give him as a gift.

I can see this happen regardless of what his darling is but Nepeta probably encourages it.

She's always been the shipper of the group and she's his Moirail.

Nepeta no doubt rambles to Equius about shipping you and him.

To her it's obvious her Moirail has flushed feelings for you!

Equius tolerates this behavior because he agrees and she's his Moirail.

Nepeta no doubt tries to convince you to give him a chance.

If you are a Highblood to take advantage of others you may accept Equius and use him to do your bidding.

He doesn't mind such a fate.

It'll take some convincing for you to fully accept his Matespritship proposal.

When you do/if you do he tries to be formal about it.

But he's sweating pools.

Even if you don't accept him he still follows you around like a puppy, begging to be given an order.

He wants you to acknowledge him, he wants you to use him.

He wants to worship you and the ground you walk on.

He's nothing compared to you!

An Indigoblood in the face of you.

Overall being a Highblood makes him more manageable.

However, Equius can still be a problem if not properly managed.

He'll be the best servant for you if not your Matesprit... all you have to do is ask!

The thing with Equius is that he doesn't really apologize that often. He feels the guilt sure, but it usually takes a big fight for him to actually apologize properly.

It's just his pride, but at the same time he does find having the need to beg for your forgiveness quite appealing.

Either way, it might often take him a while before he gets to it. And even then he just can't find the words.

Just having you look at him with that angry look, it sometimes makes him want to argue with you just to see that look on your face more often.

So in this moment he could do only one thing that'd give him a win regardless of the outcome: kiss you and say he's sorry.

If it works, yay you're no longer fighting.

If it doesn't, yay you're still fighting. But he'd try to find a good way to apologize eventually because he doesn't want you being mad at him for too long.

🎯It might take Equius a while to realize that you're upset.

🎯he's honestly pretty dense when it comes to knowing what people are feeling. He doesn't really know what he's feeling most of the time, if he's honest.

🎯So when he finally notices, or you flat-out tell him, he'll be at a loss for what to do.

🎯His first instinct is to fight whatever's upset you, but that's not always a good solution, especially when you've upset yourself.

🎯His second instinct is to wrap you in his arms and protect you from the world, hold you until you feel okay again.

🎯2/10, would not reccomend.

Tavros🧸

🧸Tavros is much better at comforting than Equius. Miles better. Tavros is an entirely different leauge.

🧸He picks up on when you're upset very easily, as he's very in tune with his emotions and that helps him tune in to everyone else's.

🧸At first, he's nervous that he's the one that upset you. He'll tiptoe around you for most of the day, trying to be as nice as possible while also giving you space.

🧸When he finally gets the courage to ask you what he's done, though, he's relieved to find out that he's not the problem.

🧸He'll let you sit on his lap and rant about whatever's bothering you, or the two of you can just sit there and enjoy the silence.

🧸He's very comforting to be around. 10/10, would reccomend.

Karkat🦀

🦀Karkat is like a happy medium between Equius and Gamzee.

🦀It takes him a little bit to realize you're upset, but when he does he's very quick to ask you about it.

🦀He tries his best to comfort you, putting on your favourite movie and buying you your favourite snacks and drinks.

🦀He'll let you cuddle up next to him and cry if you need to, and he'll let you rant for as long as you need.

🦀Beware, if you cuddle with him you will be trapped in his arms for the foreseeable future.

🦀11/10, would reccomend.

Gamzee🥧

🥧Gamzee picks up on you being upset weirdly fast for a stoner.

🥧As soon as he realizes you're upset, he's got you wrapped up in a blanket chilling on the couch while he lays on top of you, waiting for you to tell him why you're upset.

🥧He'll listen to you talk for as long as he can stay awake, but don't be surprised if he falls asleep.

🥧It's the thought that counts y'all.

Equius x reader x Nepeta (poly headcannons) (4/13/24)

🪼- hi hi !! first writing post yayyy!

You wake up each morning snuggled in between the strong, sweaty arms of Equius and Nepeta's fluffy cardigan sweater sleeves wrapped around your waist. Nepeta usually sleeps in, and Equius is an early riser.

Nepeta loves to plan dates and makes sure everyone is included. She has lists for your favorite places to eat, your favorite spots to hang out, and everything that you even slightly enjoy.

Equius is so gentle and sweet with both you and Nepeta, and makes himself noticeable in a room so he doesn't accidentally scare anybody. He likes to share his hoofbeast catalogs with you, and he loves your admiration for the animals of their world.

You go on hunting trips with Nepeta, and you're suprised by her speed and strength each time. This is usually when you two share your feelings with each other and talk, as Equius is less of a sharing person when it comes to his emotions.

Equius shows his love to you with gift giving, and he makes you tiny machines and music boxes and little robots! Nepeta shows her love with physical affection, and she's always jumping on you and tackling you into hugs. If you're a big person, she always wants piggy back rides and to be picked up. if you're closer to her size, she'll be the one picking you up! Equius wishes he could join in on more embraces, but he's so strong that one hug could probably squish you- and he wouldn't want to hurt you!

They both love cartoons, and anything with a hoofbeast in it will get Equius' attention. Some of their favorites are Tangled, Beauty and the Beast, and My Little Pony. Nepeta wants to watch My Neighbour Totoro!
